THE NEXTMEN (UK)
Posted by dan on Thursday, December 03 @ 13:03:20 EST

Unless you have fallen lifeless somewhere thru the cracks you’ve more than likely witnessed Cambridge come Londoners The Nextmen, also known as Brad Baloo and Dom Search, at one of their many sweaty styled-out club sets, festival-stopping performances or heard their incendiary mixtapes on the neighbourhood ghetto blaster.

A taste maker, hit maker and true industry icon, over the past two decades, Lee Coombs has steadily built a reputation for himself the world over for his skills in the studio and as a DJ. D*Funk (UK )
Posted by dan on Friday, October 02 @ 13:32:30 EST

Doug Masters, aka D*Funk, got his first set of decks when he was 14 – way back in the mid-90s. After hours and hours of practice he played his first club gig, spinning jungle and techno before gravitating towards house after a night dancing to Tony De Vit.
At university he scored a residency at the Canal Club and Charlie Chester’s Mezzanine in Wolverhampton in the Midlands before heading to Ibiza to play the Mezzanine Bar and notorious clubs like El Divino & Es Paradis.

NLTC has been busy this year putting the finishing touches on his debut album, "Are We Dead Yet?", dropping a plethora of single and remix releases including collaborations with the likes of Rennie Pilgrem, Peo de Pitte, Beat Assassins, Rico Tubbs and Funkanomics! If that's not enough he's been busy touring the world with his Baltimore band, The DeathSet, and launching his cutting edge Grime House side project, Zap! Pow! Die! He's clearly one of the hardest working men in broken beats and that's exactly how he performs... As a DJ/MC, come catch him rocking the decks, rocking the mic, rocking the stage and probably crowd surfing all over Halo!

DUNN D - HEADSTRONG
Posted by dan on Friday, October 02 @ 13:02:15 EST

To say that Hobart has a hip hop scene active enough to rival the main Australian cities would be a bit of a stretch, but among a handful of hard working hip hop artists who've managed to find a pinch of success, one MC in particular has stood the test of time and continues to move crowds around Australia with his energetic, comical, and often in-your-face style.
